Around 14 women leaders participated in a two days TOT (training of trainers) that was on detergent and phenyl making. It was conducted by BDVS on 24th May and 25th May 2017 for women leaders at BDVS administrative office Patna.

They targeted to help at least 1000 women to start some income generating activities and contribute some amount in their family income. The aim of this training was to train the other rural women and make them independent and an earning hand to their family.

The detergent that was made at the program was so effective that they got sold right over there in the program.

The methodology that was used in this program was theory, demonstration and practical.

Also detergent and phenyl making training program was organised for the rural women at the unit level too. In Barbigha, Barh, Jha-Jha, Kharagpur and in Patori at least 200 women participated and learnt to make detergent and phenyl.
