BDVS Declaration & Promise

We, the Dalit Family – Mahapramukhs, Pramukhs, Youth members, Prabharies, Volunteers and Animators, solemnly declare and promise that:

1. We will send all the children of 6-14 age group in our families to school
2. We will settle local quarrels among ourselves. For this purpose, we will not go to police station or court
3. We will not take loans from the mahajans. For this purpose we will form and strengthen self-help groups (SHGs)
4. We will promote health and cleanliness in our families and tolas
5. We will work for equality, justice and dignity for women
6. We will form and strengthen Dalit Bal Morcha and Dalit Yuva Morcha
7. We will fight against all forms of caste discriminations and oppressions
8. All BDVS volunteers will choose one village unit each and make it a model unit
