Quarterly review and planning meeting

BDVS organised a quarterly review and planning meeting from 26thth of June to 28th of June in the BDVS administrative office, Patna. 30 participants including staffs, volunteers and animators were present in the meeting to discuss upon the services to be provided to the target group.

The target group involves Women, Youths and Children from 5 districts (Banka, Jamui, Samastipur, Nalanda, Nawada and Patna).

The meeting discussed on the ways through which the first target group the children will improve their education level such as quizzes, tests, coaching, group studies and PTA meetings. They will also be provided technical and practical based education facilities which are not available in their school such as computer centres.

For the 943 youths (second target group) it was decided that they will be linked with available government jobs and will be trained and taught for government jobs. So, that they can get a secure job and improve their living standard.

The meeting also discussed on the different ways through which 195 women (third target group)will improve their lifestyle and will gain an opportunity to earn a living through crops growing, vegetables selling, papad selling etc.

Mr Sanayi Nayak, program coordinator and Mr Virendra, BDVS staff facilitated the quarterly review and planning meeting. The methodologies involved in this meetings were group discussion and power point presentations.
