On 28th April Mr Elmar Noe (MISEREOR India desk) visited to Lok Manch Bihar. He visited Bihar with the purpose to understand the Lok Manch activities and challenges it is facing in implementation of National Food security act (Right to Food).
He visited Charma and Bakhra villages in Masaurhi (Lok Manch operational area)and to its Partner organization Asha Kiran Rural Development Centre, Masaurhi.
Mr Elmar Noe had two separate meetings in Charma and Bakhra village. He met with the beneficiaries of Lok Manch project specially Dalit communities and Lok Manch community leaders of village.
He discussed on the effectiveness of Lok Manch activities, challenges in implementation of National Food security act, understanding of socio- economic structure of community and gaps in Public Distribution System (PDS), ICDS programmes and Govt. entitlements.
At Asha Kiran Rural Development centre, Masaurhi (partner organisation of Lok Manch). Hemet with project coordinator of Asha Kiran Rural Development centre Sr. Scholastica and with the 25 community leaders of Lok Manch. Mr Noe interacted on the issues ofunderstanding of socio- economic structure of community,challenges in implementation of National Food security Act,gaps in Public Distribution System (PDS), ICDS programmes and Govt. entitlements effectiveness of Lok Manch activities and on daily activities of Lok Manch.
