BDVS have been working for the development of Musahar communities through forming Mata Samitis (Mothers’ Committees), strengthening village development communities, school management communities, local PRI members and children.

Mata Samitis were capacitated with training on Panchayati Raj and role of PRI members particularly on improving and maintaining the quality of education in government schools.

AS a result Mukhiya had organised Gram Sabha (Village meeting) on Gandhi Jayanti , 2nd October 2017 were Mata Samiti members presented their community and school issues and their demands.

The gram Sabha decided to address the community issues first and later on to the school issues.
