ME AND MY FAMILY

‘Getting help of Rs-5000/ changed my life and my family’ says Amarjeet Kumar, aged 21 of Chakslame village in Patori. Today he is an independent and an earning man. He is continuing his studies and helps his family for daily expenses. Amarjeet is earning Rs- 300 to Rs-400 by selling vegetables and is perusing graduation.

Amarjeet said ‘I was helpless and sometimes I used to curse my life’ no one was there to help me. It was so difficult for my family to pay the tuition fees and regular needs of my education, the timely help by the project of BDVS changed my life’, he joined in the youth group (Ambedkar Yuva Manch) formed by BDVS. By considering the needs of Amarjeet the project funded Rs-5000/ for vegetable selling through self employment program.

Amarjeet stated that ‘I am now self dependant and do not bother for the daily expenses of my education and daily needs rather I support my family and I am grateful to BDVS not only for providing the financial support but also for moral support through which I gained skills to run my business’.
