On 8th and 9th November BDVS organized a Lok Manch Zonal Workshop in BDVS administrative office. Delhi, Darjeeling, Haveli Kharagpur, Jamui, Saharsa and Patna units of Lok Manch participated in it.
This main objective was to take the stock of the situation of Lok Manch, Planning the 3rd year of Lok Manch program, dreaming and planning of Lok Manch and its sustainability and preparing Election manifesto for 2019 Elections.
The workshop started with the sharing of each unit on : the dream vision, goal and objective of the Lok Manch; Concept of Lok Manch, implementation and impact.
They also shared their experiences, challenges, difficulties faced by them in implementing it and the lesson learnt.
Fr. Paschal, state co-ordinator took the session on the future of Lok Manch and on What can be done at organizational /Unit / state level and Fr. Anto presented the planning for the 3rd year-activity matrix.
Matters taken into consideration
- What type of training (skills, topic) to conduct that could capacitate the leaders
(a) to think critically, to take right decision on right time
(b) to take forward LM in the future.
- Type of role the organizations could play in this task and the type of support it need to perform the task and the duration of support.
- Plans for the continuity and sustainability.
