BDVS have been working hard to strengthen Musahar communities and trying to improve their awareness level. It has been informing people related to the issues of health and hygiene.
This resulted in at least ten Mata Samitis came together and decided to have a particular place where they can dump the garbage every day.
The Mata Samiti members got together and dug ten pits for garbage disposal. The pits will be used to dump the garbage, so that the area will be cleaner.
Mata Samiti members created awareness among the village women and instructed them to use the ‘ground dustbin’.
Now the target villages, will try to be more clean, hygienic and healthy particularly for children and the community as a whole.
