Youths are the main strength of our society and they need proper guidance to be successful persons in life. Organizing dalit youths and providing several trainings have been important dimensions of BDVS activities. Some of their important aspects have been taken up seriously this year. 25 Ambedkar Youth Resource Centers have been formed in 25 different dalit Panchayats where hundreds of youths are the members. This month some of the members of AYRCs came together in their respective districts for a one day workshop where they were facilitated to understand the ground realities of dalit communities and the necessary steps should be taken by dalit youths for their development. BDVS focused on establishing Ambedkar Youth Resource Centers in each target Panchayat to prepare a youth force for a better development. We believe that dalit youths must enter to the government jobs in different government departments, they must be prepared for participating in Panchayat administration directly or indirectly and they must think of self employment. In these workshops BDVS tried to motivate youths to think for their future and to work on that. BDVS tried to present the goal, objectives, structure and the need of establishing AYRCs. Youths were motivated and inspired by thorough activities in these workshops. More detail of these workshops is given below.
