More than 2,000 young people celebrate the World Literacy Day with BDVS.
Literacy is a tool for personal and as well as national development. According to 2017 India’s literacy rate is 74.04% and Bihar’s literacy rate is 65.80% which is still very low. Looking at this grave need of taking steps towards improving literacy rate; BDVS celebrated world literacy day on 8th September 2017 by organising different programs at 24 panchayats. Youths conducted GK competitions, cycle rallies and public meetings to mark this day.
