BDVS Conducted a Development Program For Students
Bihar Dalit Vikas Samiti (BDVS) has conducted Dalit Development Program in January. This program was aimed to help 300 students of standard 8 to complete their secondary education. It also organized 1000 youths spread over 25 panchayat of 5 districts into Ambedkar Yuva Manch. These youths were organized to be benefited with group discussions, vocational training and personality development. This program has also organized 200 women to undertake profitable farming.
After the program was launched and executed for the target people, an Evaluation and Planning Meeting was held. Director of BDVS, Fr. Anto Joseph, district coordinatives, field central program management team and the assistant director, Fr. Josh Kariakatt participated in deliberation. The participants of meeting took stock of achievements of the program period. They also analyzed the reasons that hindered the progress of the project.
The evaluation will help planning the followed program for the next 6 months up to December 2019. On the basis of evaluation, the participants of the meeting set new targets for the next 6 months in accordance with objective of the project.
