A perfect Tailor

I have become a perfect tailor’ says a young girl named Mala Kumari. She is 21 years old and is from south Dumri of Samastipur District. ‘I felt that my low education level kept me inefficient to work and earn some money for my family , but after joining in youth group (Ambedkar Yuva Manch) of BDVS. I have gained lots of skills, which proved to be of immense help to me. I am now able to stitch clothes and earn some money to support my family. Now I am able to bring up my family in a better way that I have been devoid of”

Through local people Mala had got the information about the Ambedkar Yuva Munch group that helps the youth. So then she joined in the youth group in the local community. BDVS agreed to support her through Ambedkar Yuva Manch group and helped her by providing with a sewing machine.

She says ‘I had learnt stitching before I got the sewing machine but now I am more confident when I got the Sewing machine which is mine’. I am earning Rs- 200/ to Rs- 300/ daily. Earlier my parents thought that I am burden for them but now they love me and welcome me. I convey my heartfelt gratitude to BDVS and youth group of my local community.
