Dr. Jose Kananaikal Middle School celebrated its Annual Sports Day on 28th February, 2016. The chief Gust on the occasion was Mr. Md. Vasim Ahmad, B.P.S., S.D.O, Havely Kharagpur, Munger. Fr. (Dr.) Anto Joseph S.J., Director B.D.V.S, and Fr. Siji S.J. also graced the occasion with their presence.

The chief gust urged the children to participate in extra curricular activities with enthusiasm. He told the gathering that sports and other cultural programs are the integral part of modern education. These programs help the children to show case their in born abilities. Fr. (Dr) Anto S.J and Fr. Siji S.J, also spoke on the occasion. They motivated the children with their thought provoking speeches and encouraged them to come forward to take part in different competitions. They also congratulated the prize winners.

Children in large numbers competed with each other in different events such as, race, jump events, relay throw items etc. The winners were given prizes by the chief gust and other special guests. A small but beautiful cultural program was also performed by children.

Mr. Sanjeet Kumar, Regional Co-coordinator, BDVS, welcomed the gathering. The program concluded with Principal Mr. Om Prakash’s vote of thanks.
