Economic empowerment of our womenfolk is one of the priorities of BDVS.

BDVS gave opportunities for the women to learn and start a small business. They conducted two days training on simple rural based income generating activities in the month of April. There were 30 targeted women leaders who participated in this program.

This training dealt with different types of income generating activities. They learnt to make detergents, washing cake, bathing soaps, face cream, shampoo, instants stick, phenyl and indigo based fabric whitener.

For this training, BDVS invited two experienced resource persons from Kerala. The methodology that was used in this training was theory, demonstration and practical.
