Dr. Jose Kananaikal School, at Gobadda village in HaveliKharaghpur, Monghyr (Munger) District, is an elementary school run by BDVS since 1993, where over 300 students study up to the eighth grade.

The administration of DJKS has been handed over to The Congregation of the Missionary Sisters of the Queen of the Apostles (SRA Sisters, Ranchi). The sisters have taken over the administration from the present academic session. Till date BDVS was running the school directly.

The sisters will look after the BDVS Regional Office, the school and thevarious activities of BDVS at Haveli Kharagpur. Sr. Deepika has joined as the administrator, Sr. Rajani is the Principal of DJKS, and Sr. Jamma has joined the teaching staff.
